At Australia Street, we provide a variety of extra-curricula opportunities for your child to experience. Teachers at Australia Street Infants School currently run lunch time clubs. .
After school we offer drama, chess and lego clubs. These classes are offered by external providers in conjunction with our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program.
Every year our students create a whole school performance. This is the culmination of drama classes which are run during class time by a qualified drama teacher. We perform an evening show at the Factory Theatre. These yearly performances are a highlight of our school calendar.
String ensemble program
We have an established string ensemble as an elective program for students from Kindergarten to Year 2. This program provides both ensemble experience and the opportunity for individual instruction. To assist parents getting started, we have access to a discounted hire and/or purchase program for string instruments taking the worry and expense out of choosing your child's first instrument.
